Has anyone seen/tried the Catz HID kits that are out? They're only supposed to be like $500-700, and they use factory-size bulbs. There's a 9005/9006 kit, so I'm looking at them. Just wondering if they're comparable to other HID-equipped ludes, and how they're brightness/glare compare, and wondering what degree bulbs should I choose.

I saw some on a friends civic. They look better then before. It had a real BMW look to them but it was dusk and not quite night time so I can't say for certain.

 

That's pretty much the price of most kits. I love HID

 

4500K would give you the least scattering and most light output
