anyone here replace an AT tranny with another AT tranny? is it hard? would you suggest professional installation or DIY? thanks

 

DIY is possible...is mucho easy with at to at..
but why the heck you want another at tranny for? jk
it's been cover number of time, do a search perhap

 

It wont be fun, but it isnt that difficult if you have the proper tools.

 

can someone tell me which tools i'll need? would it be basic tools or is there anything special that i need? thanks

 

well, you will need a jack, jackstands, wrenches...lots of wrenches...air tools would be nice, but not necessary, breaker bar, screw drivers (mainly for prying purposes)...possibly a ball-joint breaker-popper thingy majiggy...tourque wrench...that's all i can think of off the top of my head, you may need more....do some research though before you go and do this....
