Default ive tried everything im going to cry

ive tried everything
ok i took my intake manifold off of my b16 i took it totally apart and cleaned it, then i reinstalled it with new im gasket, and tb gasket, i dont have any vacum leaks.....all the vacum lines are ran right, and are snug, i screewed in the fitv, and it is bypassed it stops sucking when the car is warm, the iacv sucks tons of air and whistles, i cleaned it and put it back on, im geting five short blinks form the ecu, that is the map sensor code, all the vaccum lines to it are solid......im really thinking it sthe iacv, but why woudl it suck tons of air? when i restrict its hole with my finger i can make the idle level out to the normal level, this never happen till i took everything apart, when i take the iacv off and cover the holes on the manifold the car still idles like a bish....it idles form 500-1500 then it drops back to five, just liek its said, the idle is searching, the exhuast smell like feul, very rich......shoudl i replace the iacv, shoudl i get used or brand new? is ther ea way to bypass that bish? ive read every post on g2ic, and superhonda.com and honda-tech, i called the dealer those bishs dont know bish from a hole in the bish, why would it suck in tons of air, at idle, at normal operating temp and when it cold, ive bleed the coolant, its full, i plan to change the thermostat...when i drive the car if i let it idle like at corners or really slwo shifting it surges, and the car spits and sputers.....once out of that crap the car runs fine.......if i rev the car up from idle it still whistles but doesnt surge....why woudl it suck so much air, shoudl i put a piece of tape blocking the hole enough to where it idles happy and be done with it, any insight?

maybe replace the MAP. Because when I installed my LS in my hatch, I was only getting like 10 vacuum, and was running super rich and the idle was going crazy. If the map isn't working, the ecu won't see how much air is going in the engine so, it doesn't know what to do (something like that) try replacing the MAP.

Sounds like you definitely have a vacuum leak some where. Get a spray bottle with soap and water and start spraying.

Is it possible to get the IAC and MAP connectors mixed up?

are you sure the FITV is screwed in ALL the way? I had a similiar problem with my H22 and I had removed the sensores on the IM and after hours of head scratching I tookm off the FITV and saw I had only screwed it in about halfway and did not realize it. Also take off the iacv and spray it down with carb cleaner to clean the screen. HTH DO not put anything iun the throttle body to plug the hole it will get sucked into the IM!!!!
