Default tie-rod ends... please help!

Hey everyone!

I am helping my friend with his front suspension, and we have removed the tie rod ends from the strut assembly. Now we are reinstalling the stock assembly, and can't run the nut for the tie rod ends.... they keep spinning.

is there any trick of how to do this? whenever we try to turn the nut the whole stud turns.
thanks for the help!

this happened to me when i was lowering my car except on an 02 si. i think we have the same suspension but not sure. but anyways, i think you have stripped the bolt on the tie rod end or the nut. i ended up having to rethread the nut. took forever but it went back on just fine.

thanks!

I got some vice Grip's and held the stud of the tie ends, and it went back together just fine! (But it did take a while!)
