How many amps does the stock alternator put out on a '00 ITR? How many for a '00 SI? Are they the same?

My car is having major electrical problems, and I want to know if I can swap out my alternator for one out of a '00 SI.

My car is throwing a code 20 (ELD) and I keep popping the 7.5 amp fuse under the dash. Could this be caused by a bad alternator? I have currently disconnected my sound system, and the problem keep occuring.

yes you can use the civic si alternator, i would expect it puts out more amps than
the stock itr one.
