Default 4gen wheels - help

First, I would like to introduce: I’m from Poland, driving D16A9 ’91 mostly stock hatch Civic, and I’m saying big Hello to everyone here.
I have question about wheels. For now (winter) car is rolling on standard 185/60R14 wheels. As option for a new season I can choose from 15 (195/50 tires), 16 (195/45 or 205/40) and 17 (205/40) inch wheels. Do you guys have any experience with such dimensions? I want car to look good, but at the same time it still need to be fast – I don’t want to kill its acceleration (now 1-60 in 7,43s). Which size would be optimum?

15" tires are cheaper than 16" (not to mention about 17"...), and tires don't last for more than 4months... On the other hand 16" looks better and they are not much heavier than 15"...
