Default O2 Sensor Wiring Flipping

After some research I've concluded that it is quite possible that the o2 sensors on my B16 is reversed. Reading on HT and on net, ppl just mentioned about flipping them to correct the "rich" problem.

What I don't understand is flip them at what point? I see 2 possible locations
1) At the exhaust manifold (switching the location)
2) Actually disconnecting at the plug part (by the tranny), but at the moment I have the green to the green and white to white which seems logical

For anyone who's done this, where was the flip made?
Thanks

cut the wires in the engine bay side. Strip them put some shrink wrap on the wire and solder them back together. Slode the shrink wrap over the silder joint and heat it up so it seals the joint. HTH

So what ur saying is between the actual o2's and the connecting plugs I do the switch at that point?

But why go through that when it would more stable to just switch the slots on the exhaust manifold? Is there a benefit or something I dunno?

switch the pins on the ecu
pins c8 and c16.. it is very easy and takes about 5 minutes or less

not wire cutting and splicing.

Do whatever is easiest. Its not easy taking the o2s out and swithching them when the header is on the motor (damn near impossible). Switching ECU pins is a PITA 2 me. I am good with a torch so it takes about 1 minuite 2 solder 2 wires. Do you need some MILK with your cake job?

True, replacing o2's was a bitch and I rather not make so much work out of the process. Most likely switch the ecu pinouts. Hmm, didn't think of that solution b4.
