90-93 LS ecu on a d16??
I was at David Hobbs honda the other day, pouring through their helms manuals, and some of the guys there were talking about a friend that has a 4th gen. But they said he was running an LS ecu!!???
It didnt dawn on me to point out the cam in the d16 only makes power to 6500, I was just like...Really?Hmmm...
Anyone ever heard of this? or done it?

The PG7 runs a SOHC waaaaay to fat (rich) I have one on my Z6 swap and I was extremly fat ended up getting a V-AFC and on most of the maps I had to bump it down about 10-15% on low and high end cam at WOT. It does have a higher rev limit of 7200 but a Z6 stops making power at 6800. You can use a 90-91 Integra because it OBD0 but 92-93 is OBD1 and would have to get harness or swap wires about and get new harness plugs. But that ECU is for a 1.8 DOHC and runs even fatter then PG7. Stick with PM6 and get it remaped or get a AFC. If wanting to correct fuel maps and also if get it repro can change rev limit
I am running an 89 pg7 and the performance is far superior to the pm6. The rpm's drop very quick between shifts instead of that bullshit "hanging" between shifts with the pm6. The downside is the car reeks like fuel at high rpm's but all in all it WILL make your car perform better.
I installed my PR4 before I swapped motors. It started. Ran to 6800. Then threw one of the Codes of Death, 9. I think. It was waaaaay rich and boggy. But it did feel nice in the higher RPMs.

Better fuel mapping? I dont think a higher redline will help a stock d16a6. Im almost positive.
