I recently started getting a Code 13 on my ECU, I have a 1990 Hatch, DOHC ZC swap, PG7 ECU. I know Code 13 is BARO code, what what does this mean and what can I do to fix it?

 

The barometric pressure sensor is in the ECU. If it is bad, the ECU is in need of replacement. Some people who are running bigger than stock injectors are also getting a code #13. The ECU sees it's failure to lean out the mixture on these cars as a problem with the baro sensor. I would recommend Hondata as a fix for cars with this problem. A standalone would also be an option, but more expensive.

 

I have an APEX i AFC, could this code be related to this also?

 

I have the same problem as you, 440cc injectors, afc (dyno tuned) and that code will NEVER go away.... at least it doesn't affect anything important, but the permanent CEL is rather annoying...
