What size socket do I need for the axle/hub nut?
Just like it said that big motha nut on the front connecting the driveshaft to the hub/brakes.
I need to go buy that socket tonight to pull my driveshafts out why pulling this motor. A friend told me it's a guesstimate of a 1 1/8 American worked best for him does this sound right. What is the MM equivilant if it is indeed MM.
Thanks guys!

Well, I'm not 110% sure about your car.....
But for my axles it was 1 1/4" I would guess that your's would be the same but I'm not sure.
Anyway... here is your conversions:
1" = 25.4 mm, therefore:
1 1/8" = 1.125" = 28.575 mm
1 1/4" = 1.25" = 31.75 mm

That sounds about right since I just asked a friend who has done plenty of swaps what he thought it was and said he used a 32MM socket. Maybe I'll pick up one of both cause god knows I don't want to round that nut!
Thanks
Thanks
32mm for all Integra's.
So take it for what it is worth... if you have them both, maybe try both. Maybe my axle nut was just a little worn or something, so the 1 1/4" made a better fit. Don't know how it got worn, but after all we are only talking about 0.25mm.

32 mm, I've swapped two engines (in Civics) in the past week and they both used a 32mm on the axel
