Check out the rear bumpers - 240 or 260. I don't see any lights in the front grille either.

i plan on painting it red. and the rims are only 15's. i wanna get some stock "swastika rims"

and it is a 240z. they didnt make anything else in 1973. trust me, i know. i think it'll look good red, more like the sports car it is.

nice. I think you should still keep it ol skoo, and paint it like Sunkist Orange.

 

im hoping to get some stock rims off a newer z. unfortunately, theres not too many rim options. its kinda of an odd bolt pattern (cant remember at the moment)

i do know however, that the volks te37's (i believe the 37's) will fit. i know volk made some rims for the old skoo z's.

its a fatty car...i dig it. i also have some smoked headlight covers that are going on soon (make it look fat as hell lol)

Crayola green, Sunkist orange or mustard yellow are all cool, funky, period-specific colors that look SWEET on an old Z.

Just something to think about.

The existing cosmetics need a little help in order to de-ghetto things, but the car looks solid.

yea, it is kinda ghetto now (functional hood scoop edges are cracked) the body needs a little work.

good news is there is damn near no rust (little tiny surface spot that i removed already) and the body is hella straight. already has almost all shaved emblems, and the turn signals have been removed. right now, the turn signals are those marker lights put on the font piece. i plan on going to something stock, if not, then quite similar to stock.

i have some other plans for this car too...if i keep it that is.

i have 3 swap choices.
rb26dett (r34 skyline gtr-seen it done..not as hard as you'd think)
2jz-gte (supra tt-also seen it done...a little harder than the above)
sr20det (s13, s14 silvia...decent power gains, but only a 4 banger)

what do you guys think?

 

durrrrr... i say get rid of the clunker and get yourself a 510... and just drop an sr20det in it... with it's weight, you won't have to worry that it's "just a 4 banger"

 

sr20det will by far be the cheapest of those three.

 

how hard do you guys think it'd be to do the sr20 swap? i was thinking the 2jzgte would be easiest becuase its an inline six also. i know wiring is going to be a bitch no matter what i do.
