you will wont have to extend your exhuast, you will jsut need to take it to a muffler shop and have then rotate where the cat meeter then manifold. as a temp fix to get to the shop you can take a small pair of vice grips and pull it together (i actually rode around for 3 days like this, until the vice grips fell off, heh)

I don't know I can help you....

I just drove to the muffler shop (open header) and had them extend and rotate the flange on my cat to meet the header. I think some people may use the exhaust or cat off a B16 Del Sol (model : VTEC).

thanks ive heard an itr cat was a little short.. so if i get a gsr cat i will not have to extend the exhaust on my coupe at all??? how much shorter is the itr cat vs the gsr car??? when we did my roomates swap in his old coupe he drove w/ an open header to the exhaust shop but he had a double flange extention made and it it was almost 200 bux, i know he got ripped off.. imjust getting everthing togehter now

I got the flange extension made, cost $30-$40 I believe. It was about 45 mins of labor.
