I am looking for the rear speaker mounts for a 92-95 Honda Civic hatchback. This was an option in some models, and there was (now discontinued) a kit to install the speakers. If you are parting out a HB with the speaker grills & mounts, drop me an e-mail, maybe we can come up with something.

 

I've got the speaker grills, but the mounts i believe are in the panels. I'll double check though and let you know.

sold my factory kit with JBL speakers for $100 shipped to a Canuck. I paid $100 for the kit 5-6 years ago.

Damn I miss those speakers!

 

I gutted my Cx out the other day and must not have the mounts. All I had were the large panels with a smaller piece that covered where the speaker goes. I was thinking that you just have to use the brackets (metal 8" or so strips) that come with speakers you purchase??

I was planning on adding some 6 1/2's or something back there so I would like to know how you guys mount the speakers back there.

Matter of fact my boy with a hatch just got speakers put in the rear of his Cx, I'll see how they are mounted and post pics......

 

They are as rare as a virign on prom nite but you can occasionally find them on e-bay.

Only thing I could suggest is going to a junk yard and trying to find them there.

Yes there is another mount in the panel. You almost have to rip out the rear panels
to get them out. Some of the screws are in backwards. Nothing but bloody knuckles.

 

have them in the factory blue with brand new pioneer's. will include all you need. $125 plus shipping.... somebody on this board once told me that all hatches after 93 had this option. let him know he is full of shiet.

I have the mounts.. I did not use them with the install of my speakers.. we just rigged something up. If you need them i'll see if i can find them.

 

I managed to fit 6x9's in my rear speaker areas. Just custom made a two holders. Bass response isnt the best due to the crappy enclosure, but i got them to fit
