Yoko AVS ES100 vs. Yoko Parada Spec2 vs. Bridgestone RE730
Hey you guys.. i've heard lots of ppl ranting and raving about the
Yokohama AVS ES100's.. are they pretty good on grip and road noise? I'm running on Yoko Paradas spec1 right now and well they are a bit noisy..
or should I just go get the Bridgestone S-03 pole positions? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

you might wanna try gettin the Parada spec2...I have those and am really happy w/them...my friend had the spec I and I drove his car around some corners near my house...his tires broke free alot earlier than mine, and the spec 2 is also supposed to have better wet traction.
Im not sure of the AVS, but I think they are more $$ than the Parada.
I need to go to 16" azenis for auto x so I am sellin my yok's for $300 they have less than 6k on them, no camber where..lemme know if you are interested. they are 215/40/17's..check my sig.

I have the spec 1's and well it seems as if they're pretty noisy... actually go to tirerack.com and check on the AVS ES100.. pretty good reviews and cheaper than the parada spec 2's....

Some of you guys have some narrow minds.
I've never stayed with a single tire each time. RE-92, T1-S, RE-730, A520, and next is P-zero. Each tire has different qualities. The best "performance" tire that I've had thus far is the A520's or the T1-S depending on what qualities that you want. The RE-730 (keep in mind this is gen 1) was too hard of a compound and was affected by temperature way too much. Along with the fact that it's transitional handing traits were probably the least predictable other than the RE-92's.

I just put the AVS ES100's on my car. I can't compare them to Parada Spec2's but I had Toyo Prox. on before and the ES100's are far better. They grip better in both wet and dry conditions. I could spin the Toyos all the way through 2nd gear and the ES100's have a slight spin in 1st but still pulling the car along and straight pull in 2nd gear. Keep in mind that on my last dyno I had 232whp and 190tq so traction is an issue with my car.
