do you all think this is worth it? i dont want components, but rather get 2-way 3-way speakers. I dont wana spend more then 200. What would you all recommend otherwise?

 

Yes, those are excellent speakers and I think one of the best you can buy for the money. The EMIT tweeter has a good reputation but if these are going to be your front speakers you would benifit more from the two ways instead of the three ways. The two ways have a racheting tweeter which you can aim to "lift" the soundstage in your car. In plain english they make your music sound better and more full.

good prices.. other places sell the lower reference series for the same price.. do you have a storefront? I'm in nj too.

how do you get those infinity's mounted? I actually bought a reference series 6.5 and noticed the hole pattern is 4 instead of the stock 3.

 

Sorry, no storefront. We have our warehouse and offices but thats it. The Infinity's come with mounting rings which you mount to the stock location, and then the speaker mount to the ring. It is very easy. I know these come on the Kappas but maybe not on the Reference series.
