i came SO CLOSE to buying it today. it was $549 originally and $300 on sale. and installation and accessories will cost ballpark of $100. plus tax, would be around $450 total. should i buy it? im plannin on running my 2 12" rockford-fosgates to it. i need to know, cuz i need to buy it tomorrow before theyre sold out. cuz its while supplies last.... HELP ME

kicker amps are underrated. This means that when they test the amps, they use an input voltage of 13.8 volts.
If it says 600x1 @ 13.8v then in an average car producing 14.4 volts, it will produce more than 600 watts. I'd say close to 800 watts.
My brother purchased the 150.2. On the box it is rated at 150x1(14.4v), but the birth certificate says tested(14.4v) is 264 x1.
i have been using a kicker dx350 mono amp for two years now, i have never had any problems with it.

If you read the cert and manual carefully, the kx-series are rated at 2 ohms. Most speakers are 4 ohms. This means that most of the time, you are not getting the rated power unless you run it at 2 ohms.
