Cheap, reliable, and they're already there. You can make them own B16s with not too much modification. Mine will own B16s.

My old d16z beat GSR, Si, and Prelude VTECs. They are decent engines for the money. Also a turbo D16z costs about the same as a B16a and makes more power.

 

i liked my d16z, until it blew. now i will like my d16y8. until i can get a b16a or a b18c.
