I just recently crashed my car and need to sell my motor to cover the damamges.

95 LS Block with a GSR crank and block girdle
Recently rebuilt with new Bearings and rings. Has about 30k on it since rebuild.

99 SI Head Fully ported by JG Engine Dynamics this has the ti retainers and hi rev springs. JG Throttle body and Type R intake manifold. The motor is running b16a2 cams right now but if type R cams are installed the motor will put down over 190hp to the wheels. I'm looking to get 2500obo on the long block no tranny. No low ballers please. I have always changed the oil every 2k miles. If your interested I might be willing to also sell the Type R tranny with a 478final drive. I will sell the tranny for 1500 with the JDM 478 final.

what's the advantage to running that gs-r crank in the b18b? i thought the b18b had more displacement and therefore a little more torque, wouldn't changing out the crank decrease the displacement?

 

I just happned to have an LS block and wanted a little more rev's out of it. So I used the GSR crank and rods etc... But I used the GSR girdle because its stronger.

JG sells the oil caps. They have the low compression one also.

the motor in the pic is the ls block. But it has GSR internals and a GSR girdle.
