true. good idea. I guess as a last resort I can do that
my plan was after skewl (which is 12 hrs) I'd go and pick it up. I wouldnt really wanna leave my car in that position. but hey, I guess if I can, ill go home, take it off and out it on at the place.

good idea, thanks...haha

(if it does fit in back, let me know, cuz drive to the form the bay to home and back to the bay is a waste..)

No the hood will not fit back there.. I've tried.. you need a truck or something.. or just do like someone else said, go to pick it up with out a hood or something.

Just roll your windows down and tie it to the roof. Be sure to wrap it up though and make it real tight.

I would help you out if you lived closer to me! Sorry tho.
I don't know about the roof idea... I'd be too scared that it'd fall off.

CF hoods barely fit into integras, I doubt they will fit into an EG. The EK is bigger than the EG so it is possible like someone posted. Just wondering but who are you getting your hood from and how much? Just seeing if I can beat your price.

That explains the avatar then.

I guess if he isn't going too far and drives a modest speed then it wouldn't be too bad

I'll be driving an hour away and on the free way. So thats kinda out of the question. Its a 96 hatch btw, if I didnt say before.

Someone above suggested tying it to the roof. That sounds like a good idea to me just make sure you put a few old blankets on the roof to protect the paint and tie that thing down REALLY REALLY WELL

As far as I hve tried a hood won't fit in an EG but maybe there is a rubik's cube trick to it. It is far easier to just borrow a friends pick-up truck.

Eh... I wouldn't put it on the roof. I wish I could help you out... I'd ***** myself out for a truck/trailer if I were you

thanks guys
im gonna see what I can do. I looks pretty nice outside, so I dont think weather will be a problem. I'm gonna probably just take my hood off. Sounds the easiest. I'd rather not go back home from the bay, take off my hood, go back to the bay then back home again. But sacrifices will be made I suppose.

I put my CF hood in the back of my EG. Just turned it sideways, it fit fine. Recently, I picked up a Del Sol hood, and it fit in my EG also.

Carbon fiber hood fit in my 97 hatch fine. Just fold down the back seats and put it at an angle. Fits with room to spare.

Ya, the hood with fit no problem. I drove all the way from Chicago with 1 other person and with the stock hood in the back seat. You actually have more room than you think. Itll fit so dont worry.
