nitto 555s are a little bit heavier than Yokohama AVS ES 100, is 2lbs that big of a differenece? Which one would u advice? I'm sorry for all the questions. I just need some quick help. Thanks
well, 2 lbs of difference is a lot considering a tire spins at a radius very far from the center axle.
I opted for Nitto 555 because they are the only tire company that makes 225/40/17. no other company does.
nitto 555 has MAD grip in dry traction.. but in wet traction.. if i'm not careful.. my tires spin crazy in 1st gear. nitto 555 is a very sticky tire with soft compound. this is my second set of nitto 555. DO NOT buy nitto 450.. they suck. it's day and night between 450 and 555.
i have not done enough research on AVS ES100 to comment on that. hope this helps.
