Default Low End Power

A couple things that i wanna stress before i start this, im not lookin for sales pitches for: Forced Induction, or Tranny swap. Just simply wanna build on what i got without Forece feeind my car.

I have an automatic, and yea she is slow in the low end, i was wondering what i could do to increase it. I was thinkin Camshaft for one, but i dont know whats good out there, i heard Zex is crap, Crower breaks, and Bullfrog, i dunno no one really talks about them. I was just wondering what you all thought would be good without the FI or the tranny swap..i jsu wanna build what i got...so yea merci in advance

Who said ZEX sucks? It's made by Crower which is a very god company. I happen to have a ZEX cam and it pisses me off when people say things suck when they haven't had first hand experience with them. It's a good cam. With a cam gear as well, you could tune it for better low end, but your tranny is still going to absorb most of the power unless you get a shift kit or buil the tranny.

I heard automatics suck and it is cheaper to sell the slucsbox car and buy a 5 speed version.

the only reason i was scared to do the 5speed conversion. was becausae of the price, but i have a friend with a d series tranny and alot of hook ups and being the great salesmen that he is, talked me into buying it off him. so i think im doing the conversion. Emerica, as for your think with Zex, i dunno u probably are right. I am just going from waht my freidn said, and he said that based on articals that hes read, and possibly other people that have the, ill look into them though, i still wanna get some low end out of it even if i do the swap. Thanks for everyones help and keep posting if u would
