Default would a FAL universal twin 10" fan be sufficient for my Prelude?

trying to gain a little extra space, i found that FAL makes a twin 10" universal electric fan w/ AC relay, but my OEM Prelude fans are 12". will the 10" FAL fans be sufficient?

I just bought a 650 cfm 10" slimline fan for my A/C for turbo clearance, and I believe the fal fans are even more than that, if they are then both fans will flow like 1300 cfm or more that will be plenty since the stock fans may only flow like 1000 or so put together, all about flow numbers.

Why not get 2 12" slim fans they are like 2" thick.

all depends on the cfm rating. usually the cfm ratings even though smaller are much higher then stock/oem.

however, don't waste your money on the name brand fans. you can buy cheap no name brands from summit/jc that put out just as much cfm's if not more for much cheaper. you'll spend about $50 on each or a little more. then you'll just have to wire them in.

Actually, the more expensive fans usually flow a lot more cfm. I used a 14" spal fan that flowed 2300cfm on a 300z once. Have you ever messed with rc cars? You know how the better motors are harder to turn when they're off? That's how the motor was on this spal fan i used, it was notchy when you turned it by hand. Just like anything else in this world, you get what you pay for....

well i found some dual 12" fans in Summit, but what's the difference between the pusher style and the puller style fans?

i can zap a can and make the magnets so strong it will be very hard to move the arm. This not a sound comparison. As the motors used in fan's are brushless, unlike the majority of r/c car motors out right now.

difference between pusher and puller fans is on which side of the radiator you mount it on.

pusher goes in the front, puller goes in stock location...couldnt you just wire it backwards on any fan to change the direction of the flow.

no you cannot as the motor only spins in one direction.

that is incorrect.... the cheap radio shack motors will spin opposite if wire backwards, but any good electric motor will not do that though
