need help with wide of rims to use slick on.
hello
i am being offer 13" rims that are 2x6" and 2x5,5" and i am gonna use slick on thoes rims.. should i just buy all 4 rims = 2 rims that are 6" wide & 2 rims that are 5,5" wide. (i am looking for handle and 0,5" diffrence dont sound nice to handle)
if i buy all 4 rims would be better to have bigger wide at front and smaller wide at rear??
i was looking for rims that had 7" wide but i found it was only on 15" rims and they cost to much for me now...
one more question hehe: what would be better slicks on 13" wheel or F1
Goodyear dekk (205/50/R15) on 15" Alezzi rims? (then i mean for race
start and handle)

It is interesting that most people who race production cars in the US run on street radial tires, or special compound versions of street tires - rather than slicks. Slicks are much more common in Europe and England, even on club racing cars.
Slick tires are almost always going to be faster AND more expensive than treaded street tires. I don't know for sure but I would not want to have different size wheels on the front and rear of a car. Sometimes you have to move them around, for example, and that would be a problem if they are not the same.

hehe i would run on street tires but the old racers tell me better to use low profile tires or slicks because street tires are not good for racing on in a race.
hehe i can get slicks for less money then low profile tires so i think i choose slicks (about 10 USD cheaper.. but if i would be in USA then i would race on muscle car hehe cheaper gasprice and more power + cheaper carparts)
yeah that is what i thougth = not same size of wheels -> bad for handle.
well first i am talking hehe then why not ask one more question: what is smallest size of wheel wide that i could use 13" slick on? (wondering if i could fit slick on 4" wide rims)
