Default koyo radiators

i noticed everything decent in the aftermarket for the accord is only for the 5th gen and my poor 4th gen doesn't get squat. case in point the koyo aluminum radiator. anybody done this, fit the 5th gen radiator into the 4th gen? would it work by just fabricating new mounting brackets or are there other differences such as where hoses connect? i don't have a 5th gen to compare to so i have no clue.

not now i don't need one but it's mainly just for personal knowledge. just research guy so i can know before i becomes a problem since i'll be starting a build-up next summer. i like to know instead of just wondering about it.

if you run your coolant/water right and maintain it you would never need a new or different radiator because that will never be your problem
Aluminum Radiators are mainly for weight reduction

dave has a koyo in his 4th gen,

not just weight reduction, increased colling capacity the thing is 50 some odd mm thick and holds at least a gallon or so more of coolant

thanks SOHC but who's dave? i'm from dallas and we all know how hot it gets here and how bad the traffic is. so imagine sitting in the middle of a 5-lane highway in the hottest part of the day with the AC on full blast and stuck in rushhour while home is still 20 miles away and you haven't moved an inch in 30 minutes (ya that's dallas from 4 to 7 every week day). i don't care how good your coolant system is (which mine IS top), it's still gonna be too much to handle. and who said weight reduction is a bad thing anyways? especially from the front of the car.

i already had to replace it with a full brass one and it's in good shape still. i don't plan on doing this soon or even in the near future. it's all just speculation, dude. i'm not putting down near the power to need it now but it may become a possibility if i get bored enough and i want bragging rights for bench racing. like i said, summers here are awful and in such situations the car gets HOT. not anywhere close to dangerously hot but hot enough to really **** the car off and affect mileage, performance, etc. i also just like having a cool running car.

while at the shop. my somewhat mechanic of choice pointed out to me that there were "deposits" accumulating in my radiator. can someone please shed some more light on this? is this something that i should jump on right away?

its called 'scale' and 'rust'. Those are the deposits unless somebody used 'stop-leak' in your radiator. That stuff has the consitency of over-cooked eggwhites

Hey YodiBro...offtopic question for you...

What are the telephone area codes for Mesquite Texas? Are they...

214
682
940
972

Did I miss any? Also, are they're alot of nice houses/little ranches in Mesquite? Are there super-rich ppl in Mesquite? Like estate properties? I'm doing some research for a friend. Thanks alot!

mesquite is getting kinda bad i'd stay away. the trash is over running us from south and east dallas as well as garland. if you wanna live around the dallas area i would suggest richardson and plano or rockwall. rockwall is a little out of the way but it is DAMN nice, the highest per capita in texas per county but it isn't hrd to find affordable housing at all.

forgot one, if you want a lot of property, sunnyvale is where you need to look. big houses and lots of land all around.

and 469 if you're with verizon but ya, you got'em all

Thanks Bro. Have a free Hotdog and big-gulp on me (print them in color). If you wouldn't mind, I had one more question. What kind of town is Grand Prairie? Nicer? With bigger houses on big lots? Or not really? Thanks again!
