The pirce is ~300 in canadian dollars which isn't bad for a pager alarm...here is the link to the guy who is selling it. My main concern is, will the alarm work if the car is parked underground and i am on the second floor when i am at work...

Don't do it. The Viper Responder from DEI is well worth the investment $599.99. When it comes to protecting your investment Do Not settle for a cheap imatation.

Dont be an idiot, a shitty alarm system is worthless...whats the point of spending money on a shitty alarm..you should buy that alarm, right between not getting laid and and having a stolen car!

What makes this alarm such a pos? I just need a baisc alarm, and it's really important that i can get paged from underground. At my work i park 2 levels underground and work on the second floor, so that's 4 floors, will it work? If it does, what would make this thing POS. please explain i have no experience with this...if this is pos what is the next decently priced pager alarm that's worth it?

Unlike many of the youth here...I'm old enough to remember this company...They were a VERY highly rated alarm company...when Car Audio and Electronics used to test alarms..Crimestopper was always in the top 3 ( most it was No 1). Today after the '90's company grab up..its still a great product. I still see it in use today ( hell i still own a couple as well as a VSE derringer) Most dont know of it because they were not around....youth

So you are 4 stories up....and if your alarm triggers what are you gonna do..go try to be a hero? Not to **** on your idea, but your car is not worth your life...not matter how hard you worked on it material items can be replaced... you cant.
With that being said...get a " basic" security system ( hood/trunk/hatch/doors hardwired....single or dual immobilier...battery backup...a set of air horns mounted out of reach..siren mounted out of reach) with keyless entry added could be the answe you need.

take care

Has anyone ordered from this place before?

And is the RS3 comperable, security-wise with the Concept 400-600s?

-------------
edit: Doesn't matter much at this point. I picked up a Concept 600.
