I like my Silverstars. They are bright and much whiter than stock bulbs, but there isn't a blue tint to them. I have pics of them and will try to post them tomorrow if I find them.
just wonderin since theyre a lot cheaper than buying piaas again.. or any brand of japanese bulb for that matter... The only problem is, sylvania tells the brightness in degrees K, but its impossible to find out the brightness of those japanese bulbs.. theyre just described as "hid looking"
I took out my PIAAs to try the Silverstars about a month ago and I've noticed no real difference in the quality of light output, but the distance traveled isn't as far. Definetely a worthy replacement (so far) to the expensive Japanese bulbs. I just hope they don't burn out quickly like a lot of the cheaper brands do.
well theyre made by sylvania - i think theyre an oem manufacturer so the quality should be good
btw: these should work better than the corner light bulbs we've all been using-

anyone know if theres a big difference between the single big led and the 4 small leds?

Go to toucanindustries.com their bulbs are cheaper then sylvania's, and seem brighter and whiter to me. and where are these people getting HID kits for 400&300 with bulbs from, i cant find them
Do you work for Toucan or something? You sure do ride their nuts alot.
I got my Phillips HID kit for my accord from the UK for 450 with some phillips blue bulbs to replace my h1's too boot. Just look for Group Buys on these they are going on every where.

I seen them on a EG looks almost identical to my PIAA's. When the PIAA blows out, I'm going to get some Sylvania Silverstars.
Why?
cost its alot cheaper.
