that 96-98 headlights use H4 bulbs, and 92-95 use H3? or are they both H4?

i know it's a stupid question, search revealed only stuff on 96-98 bulbs, but i need 92-95 bulbs.....

 

92-95 = h4

 

pretty sure H4 bulbs will work on 92-95 civics... but not absolutely positively. can anyone confirm this?

H4 bulbs are motorcycle bulbs... the bulbs that the 92-95 civic uses would be properly referred to as 9003's. However, from my understanding, H4 and 9003 bulbs are pretty much interchangeable. The autoparts store might look at you funny if you ask for an H4 bulb for your civic though, as they'll probably refer to them as 9003's.

I think H3's are foglight bulbs. I know most projectors use H3's for low beams and H1's for high beams. Don't quote me on that.

9003=H4----same exact bulb, same exact size, same exact wattage (60/55w)
