how much power have you all made off of type r cams in the N/A form. i have heard that some can still make power past the regular redline of 8400(or whatever it is), is this tru and how so? also what is done durring a 3 or 5 angle valve job. im interested in doing oversized valves in my head but i wanted to know how much power i will make out of it...is it enough to support how much it will cost? thanks guys for the help.

 

im not a total expert on this but i know about 3 guys with 190-220whp motors from 11.5-12.5 compression repectively all running ctr intake cams and itr exhaust cams and still making power up to 9000 so yeah OEM R cams can make power that high but it does take tuning, ported heads help a lot, and compression. all these motors were 84mm+ bore also....
