fabricators....is it hard to weld for some1 that never weld before. what's the different w/ mig & tig weld methods?

how much does a typical weld starter kit cost...?

Mig and tig welders are pretty expensive and they require lots of skill. If you want something to just mess around with you could go with an Arc welder. Pretty easy to use and inexpensive but it certainly does not weld as clean as mig/tig. It will leave uneven chunks of welds depending on how skilled you are.
