... ot : jrsc integra gsr... 260 whp... is it possible?
... one of my friends said he talked to this guy who claimed that he dynoed at 260 wheel horsepower... i was like "yeah right" and left it at that... so i am wondering is this possible?... he said stock gsr, jrsc, jr fuel pump, btm, cai, thermal exhaust... at this altitude (5000-6000ft), i seriously doubt it (unless he is squeezing nitrous too, and even then i am still skeptical) but i just want to see what the h-t junkies thought?...
My friend has a JRSC on a Si with 8lb pulley with Injectors and he laid down like 212 at the wheels. So unless this guy has a big pulley and some internals I highly doubt that he is doing it with stock internals. ASK FOR THE DYNO SHEET!!!
Its definitely possible...Ive seen 6PSI @ ~230, so why not?
Who knows if the guy is lying or not, but I wouldnt be surprised if it can, and has been done.

he is full of crap.however,i have a friend that made 260whp in his gsr.he had 84mm sleeves, titanum rods, knife edged crank, oversized crower valves, jun springs and retainers and lots of head work.$9600 in just the engine.don't know the boost level, but it blew up soon after that.
I'm at maybe 250hp at the wheels with stock internals and a 10psi setup (get 12psi on boost gauge).
Your friend is full of it.

Im going for 250whp just on the blower w/ 8lbs fully tuned this time around when i build it up.
dont sleep on the Jackson, its underrated

I got my firts ride in a jackson GSR today with headers, cat back, high flow cat, and it felt like a stock GSR it dident pull hard at all. I have a GReddy turbo gsr right now and i guarentee i would wax that JR supercharged GSR....
Vortech is a little better from what i have heard, and it also has a optional after cooler so the air can be cooled....
Go turbo or save your money

I know a ton of JR'd GSR's that would love to meet up with you, racer-x.

Spoken with true ignorance and cluelessness.

My friend put on a custom 10lb pulley before he switched to turbo. Holy crap, let me tell u that thing pulled all the way in every gear. He would do rolling burnouts in second and even into third
. I dont know if there was any truth to it actually being a 10lb (seeing as i have never really heard about them) but that was still probably the coolest car i've ridden in, even if it was only 8lbs.
I'm hoping that someone in the near future will fully take on a full project with a jrsc, I would like to see some high horsepower and torque numbers. Most people that i've encountered with a jrsc dont really have anything else done. so if anyone has some crazy set-ups drop me a IM.

rboost717 made 264whp at 8psi on his type-r. http://www.geocities.com/supercharge...arsey_car.html. he posted his dyno here awhile ago.
here's my gsr at 6psi

I`m dying to get my car running and dyno it. Maybe I`ll make the JRSC owners proud
Well we should be done with our D-series build up soon. Here are the specs:
D16Y8
Blueprinted and balanced block
Aem Ems
RC 440s
Endyn built head w/ Ferra valve train(dual springs, Nitrade coated valves,Ti retainers)
Endyn reworked JRSC 15-18 psi depending on pulleys
Coated Rollerwave Pistons
Eagle rods
Oem bearings
Oem oil pump and pickup
ARP headstuds
Cometic gasket
Block guard
ACT Xtreme Clutch and PP
Jackson 255lph fuel pump
Nos wet kit
and more.
We will probly need bigger injectors but,
Hoping for 300whp but we will see.

Sure its possible, but IN COLORADO....I don't think so. sorry.
The only way he is making 260whp at that boost level in COLORADO, is if hes spraying.
Nitrous or maybe even Alch injetion.
