Spoon Caliper Owners - buy it for bling or performance
I'm waiting for my clibers to come in, but I've been reading that they are more of a bling thang, than performance. I'd like to know what all Spoon caliber owners think...
If i could do it over again... I'd probably just get better pads and fluid... But if you track all the time, then I think it is worth it.

Rguy, who has heard the calipers just help with feel and modulation, but would like to know more.
Fixed the title.
Spoon calipers are lighter than stock, brake pads are removable without removing the caliper, more even pad wear and better pedal feel.

I wish they were annodized black and didn't have "spoon" in huge raised letters.
Bling sucks, but lightweight, four-piston calipers that fit under stock rims sound pretty damn cool no matter what they look like.

i think if you love your car and are into "fixing" it up to reflect you as the driver, i think there's room for both bling and performance if it makes you happy...however, both are always clouded in opinion, so go with what is best for you in the end.
i'd love the calipers too one day

I had been going to track events in completely stock form for 2 years before upgrading to R tires and brakes.
Unsprung weight and brake modulation is what I was looking for, and the Spoon did a great job in those categories.

I'm running DS3000 pads now and the braking is much better, waiting to get my SS lines and fluid in should make it much better.
