any GT3 prepared teg's here?
i was wondering if there was anyone with a GT3 prepped integra on this board.
basically, what i'm trying to find out is the level of preparation put into the car, and how competetive an integra is in this class. i've been reading through the scca rules and it seems like almost anything you would like to do is legal. (full tube frame, fiberglass body, wide fenders, lexan, camshafts, pistons, carbs, even converting to rear wheel drive.......)
it's a very interesting, and co$tly, class......but i don't think i've seen anyone on here with one.
maybe we can add a GT class in the ECHC??

i have seen both cost and converted.. cost lot of money and is a hard job.. no VERY hard job

Personally, I never really understood the draw of GT3/GT4. Why make a FWD car a RWD car? Plus, they are almost nothing like they rolled off the showroom.
i think that most people that are drawn to the GT classes like to build there cars, motors, for speed. Most other classes really limit you as to what you can do. I peresonally like the fact that the cars are not like they rolled off the showroom floor, that's what showroom stock is for. Not all FWD cars are converted to RWD, the idea is that you do what works for you, and you get to exploit all aspects of the car. For some people building a fast car is part of what makes racing fun during the off season.
Of course, once you get onto the track, it doesn't matter what class you're in as long as you're racing.......
