I have been following this issue for the past few days and have proven it is fraud!

Basically someone stole an eBay listing name, posted this car and was trying to get multiple people to direct deposit money. This person did quite a bit of research to assume the womans identity. Unfortunately, the wrong victim was chosen. Please email me personally to give me ideas on how to prosecute this fool. I know we have very honest and intelligent people on this board that would love to help shut this person down - I don't want any public ideas in case the person is watching this board.

Because I care about the people on this site and wanted everyone to be aware. I thought this justified a double post. Look at my post count, I am not a post *****.

If you read the reports about the scammers that get caught on ebay, the big scammers, ($50-500k) you find out that almost without exception, they have feedback in the thousands. It's like they build up their reps legitimately over a couple of years and then go for a huge scam.

 

The woman who is behind the account is legit. She is currently selling more items. Someone found her positive feedback history, found info about her on the net, hacked into her account, and made a bogus auction. Her account is now active again and she is selling items - but NOT a 2000 Honda Prelude SH.
