hey guys, first time i've posted in this forum, i tried to use the search but it didn't come up with anything.

well, i'm into racing and i don't want to weigh my car down, but i want a "premium" stereo system, i've got the deck taken care of, and i currently have infinity 652i's in right now, there pretty good, but i want mid-top of the line 6.5" for the fronts and rear. i want the low bass, what would you recommend?

Polk momo's will blow you away for a 6 1/2. Kinda $$$ though. But any polk speakers are sweet

i'm looking into 6 1/2" speakers at the moment too. So far the best that I found without spend mads amount of money are the infinity 2 way speakers. I'm thinking about those. I havent heard anything bad about them yet. Anyone care to differ?

 

I agree with h22akrd, Focal is the way to go.

JL stuff, yeah is good too, I am thinking about some too actually.

 

i hope you are not basing the quality of the speaker on looks

 

JLs are actually pretty good, go listen to a set I was surprised same with infinity(higher end models). I chose ID because of the 2ohm load and they sound great.
Don't care for MB Q at all, the stuff that sounds good is there top dollar stuff. Almost everyone can smote their cost/performance aspect.

edit:wierd I change the smote to be-at 5 times now and it keeps changing it.
