I have a set, but I don't race the car currently.

I like them. The only feature they're missing is independent height and preload settings. Most of the comparably priced shocks have this now.

Adjustment is easy, but honestly, I don't mess with them much as there's no point messing with the car much until the driver is more consistent. Also, I built the car with these on it, so I don't have anything to compare them to.

Track days, Solo I and II only. Worth every penny, very light weight Ti innards, re valve easy, rebuild able, double adjustable, outstanding build quality. Only complaint, GC has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Example; they simply refuse to acknowledge second generation Integra’s use different diameter size front damper forks from third generation Integra’s and CRX's.

have you ever had yours rebuilt or revalved?

I was thinking about contacting them to try to buy parts from them. Hopefully I won't have to send them back to get it done.

Yes, one rebuild for a leaking shaft seal, the owner accused me of using vise grips on the piston shaft. After a long talk he relented and shipped over night across national borders at their cost. Just give your self plenty of time and expect to deal with problems; billing, correct parts, shipping time frames....., if you anticipate working with GC.

I have only tracked these dampers on this car at Mission one recent rainy day, and one day at PIR (SIR). They performed very well, although this car is set up primarily as a Solo II vehicle where forgiveness and roll play a larger part in chassis driver feedback. I experienced little if any dampening degradation, fade or over heating symptoms, ample dampening adjustment range, compression and rebound. Controlled Eibach ERS 7” springs, 650 front and 800 rear on a 2240lbs second generation Integra running 205 X 50 X 15" Toyo RA1. Large sweet spot, ran most of the sessions close to the middle of the dampening adjustment settings as it should be. GC dyno tested and valved the dampers to these spring rates and chassis specifications.

Straight to GC, I believe they are the only point to purchase them. Try talking to Jay.

Hello .RJ.

The list for $399.00 per corner.

I bought mine used... thus the need to revalve them for stiffer springs.

I noticed a while back that they're making a cheaper version now as well. I don't remember if it was single-adjustable or non-adjustable. I guess I'll try to contact them.

You're right about the customer service though. I tried to call them over and over right after I bought my shocks. They never picked up, and never returned my calls. That's enough reason not to buy from them.

Hell, if someone wants to buy mine I'd be perfectly happy to go try something else.
