We've made over 600 with a b18c. It just takes boost, torque will come along for the ride...

Only way to get torque is by adding horsepower. Also Tony1 is the one that built Kenny Tran's car and he for got to mention that they are also making 1,050 Horsepower. Or real close to that.

would it be way far out of my reach to set a goal of 275 torque for a b16? And if so do you know roughly how much hourspower I'd have to make to get that much torque.

You dont make horsepower, it is determined using a mathematical formula based on torque. But with 275 ft lbs, you will make between 360-420 whp.

i think that is the equation if i remember my stuff from engr111 correctly

But yeah, you HP is dependant on torque. So adding HP does not mean you are adding torque.

thought it was 5250? Close enough I suppose...
Anyway, subject at hand, I made over 275tq on a b16 at 22psi on race gas. HP checked in at 371

I've heard 5252 before too. My only goal is to make more peak torque than peak hp.
