as you can see i did a very good job painting them, some people cant even tell. but the paint has to go. or anyone with a stock 92-95 hatchback tailights that wants to trade.

Brake fluid. Trust me on this, it works. Dip it in brake fluid for no more than 30 minutes. It will peel off the paint layer and all you will have to do is rinse it off.
the guy a few above is rite. paint thinner will work. just be patient with it, but don't leave it in tooo long. once the thinner soaks in a little the paint will wipe off really easily. same thing happened to me when i was tinting my tails and messed up. paint thinner does nothing. good luck

Brake fluid works well, as does Castrol Super Clean...if it's an enamel based paint. Just take the lamp off and soak it in either for an hour or two, then just rub the paint off! Neither of these fluids will damage the plastic. I use CSC to take the paint off of my models that I F* up.
USE NAIL POLISH REMOVER! My friend had bought his car and it had some gay *** red paint over the amber signal. When he used it, it took it right off, and made the taillight look like new.
