Picking up my 01 Blackbird this afternoon. I have not been able to concentrate on much else today.

Now you get the painful break in period. I bet on that bike it will be extremely painful. Did you see the European film with the R1, Blackbird, GSXR1300, and the ninja? That made me HP envious.

You can find it online, or likely at your local bike shop. This is a must see for all of us out there that are a little messed up in the head. It was on in the dealership the day I decided to buy my R6. It may well have played a part in my spur of the moment decision to get a bike again.

I first saw that video in a bar in Quebec... it rocked. I could not believe the guy who was power drifting the Hayabusa around the corners.

Ahhh, to be that good.

 

I literally stood in the middle of the show room floor until the video finished. Unfortunately I was on my luch break, in the end I was about 45 min late getting back to work and 2 days later I had my R6. Not that it was unfortunate that I had teh bike, just the work part.

Nope, mine was a brand new 98. It sat on the showroom floor for 3 years and I bought it from a company that went out of business. Pretty sneaky on my part...
