Default Finally got the n1 in today, I have some Q's

After waiting like a whole week I finally got my n1 today. Everything looks good and I am going to wait until this weekend to put it on.

My question is that while I was looking at the instructions, it says it is for the 2dr/4dr EX. 92-98 or the DX. 92-95. My car is a 99 EX. Will it still fit or did they make a mistake while shipping?

Another thing. It came with the silencer installed on it already, I always heard about some tool required to remove it, is this true? If so, mine didn't come with one.

Thanks in advance for the help.

If it's just that N1 universal thing then it will fit any car, provided there's enough room. And usually there's a bolt that holds the silencer. You should just be able to use regular tools.

I bought the cat-back system for a 99 civic ex, when i got it today the paper said for the 92-98 ex. I was wondering if it will still fit. I really dont want to go through the trouble of shipping it back and everything.

It is not just the universal, its the cat back, will it fit my 99 ex?

Thanks

why dont you try it on? if it doesn't fit - send it back. one way or another you're going to have to pay for shipping again, unless the company you bought it from is cool.

why would i have to pay for shipping again? If it works and fits well then I wont have to ship it back. I was just posting hoping that somebody would know.

And im limited to only 5 posts a day since im still a trial user.

I ordered it from modacar.com, which after ordering I heard was the worst place to order from, but it came here on time, and hopefully it fits well and is the right one.
Can someone answer my question?

thanks for the help

It should fit fine. i have a exhaust for a 2 door EX on my 4 door. The exhaust is the same for your car as a 96 EX,I am almost positive.

It will fit just fine... as long as you got an exhaust for a coupe and not a HATCH.
BTW the silencer is a bitch to take off. I never knew they had a special tool ill look into that.

Thanks for the replies. I had some guy call apex for me, cause he was calling about a turbo kit for the 99 si, so he said he would ask for me and he said as long as the model number matched up it would be fine on the car.

How would I make sure it is not on the gas tank? I thought it just bolted up and it fit and if it didnt oh well.
