Im located in Hagerstown Maryland, 12 minutes from state line Pennslyvania. Also close to Frederick, Baltimore, DC...Who is the best AEM EMS tuner around here, I want someone who will know exactly what they are doing, and wont use my car to learn from their mistakes...

 

I am in Dallas but that doesnt help you much. good luck finding an experienced tuner. its so new anyone tunign it will still be learning on your car.

yea, inline pro is supposidly one of the best from what ive read on this board.

Nate's shop in NJ does some work on EMS too, he said he could tune mine when ever i get around to installing it.

 

Has Inline ever tuned the AEM before ?

 

I am also looking for a tuner that knows there stuff for AEM in PA. Let me know. I had DRT tune my car before in NY but that is a pretty far drive for me. TIA

 

DRT in NY does it. SPI in NJ is supposed to be kick *** with hondata and AEM. Thats where I am going with my hondata. Modified motorsports in PA does it, but I am not a huge fan of them.

harrisburg I believe. I am not trashing them. I have no experience with them, but I have seen some shitty swaps come from there.

 

Do yourself a favor and call AEM. JP knows all the tuners and auth. dealers b/c they have to talk to him first when questions/problems arrive with the EMS. If you have your EMS then there should be a 800# on it, if not visit the EMS forum, or call 310-484-2322.

 

Inline pro is a good , but very expensive

 

We can do it at Modified. The owned Tony actually has the AEM in his car. We are an authorized dealer also and everyone of our mechanics have been through the classes and have had hands on.

 

what about dynamic motorsports in pa ?

 

since this is almost the same area, what about a good EMS tuner in NC, i have heard to go to Turbo Tune in Greensboro for Hondata, but what about EMS?

 

i heard some bad rumors about that place. i am not gonna go into details about it but i will leave it at that...
I say go up to modified, check out the shop and talk with tony. The guy knows his ****.. I wouldent send my car to someone i wouldent trust and tony is gonna be doing my motorswap here within the next month...

 

My be expensive, but your car will run perfect and if you have to come back due to any problems, they won't try and hassle you like some other shops. You get what you pay for and they do incredible work.

 

Yup! Don't be cheap guys, tuning is one of the most important things you can do to the car.

 

try Altered Atmosphere Motorsports (AAM). They're located in MD (Gaithersburg) so it's a little bit closer to you. I've had my car tuned there and they do a good job. they have an AEM tuned drag civic also.

 

Where is SPI? I've never heard of them.

SPI is located in Cliffwood Beach NJ, around Old Bridge area, i heard their alright, but id rather go elsewhere if i was in this guys shoes... DRT is an authorized tuner, and pretty good from what i hear, also try altered atmosphere, which may be a little closer to you if yer in maryland, they Run AEM in their Civic.. good luck..

 

Mark at turbo tune can tune anything, he was deffenently worth my drive to nc. turbotune336 378 1252, I dont care what anyone here says, you might have to drive a bit to find a good tunner. Jason
