I just recieved "A Twist of the Wrist". I bought both the book and DVD. I've been watching the DVD and it is quite good. Its written for the two wheeled types but much of it carrys over. It was recommended to me by a friend and I'd like to recommend it to you all.

twist of the wrist is written by keith code. its for motorcycle racing, the things he talks about can be applied to car racing as well. find it in any b&n bookstore.

i havent seen the video tho, i heard its good.
