Default Fitting a 'teg Type R engine to a del sol.....

Hi guys,
I'm buying a del sol after Xmas as a project car and the first thing I want to do is rip out the engine, and install an Integra Type R b18 engine I have access to. I know most of the things to look out for in this type of conversion but I'd appreciate any pointers that people can offer specifically. Do I need customs mounts or will the b18 fit on the stock b16 mounts? etc.

Thanks
Gaz

p.s. I tried using the search function but couldn't find any specific details on a Tegra Type R engine into a del sol, so apologies if this has been covered before

I don't see why not. It's a B-Series..It should go in just fine.

It'll go just fine. Any B series will bolt into a del Sol as its the same platform as the 92-95 Civic.

Try here for some info on a B18C5 into a Civic.......
