Default ?s about height adjustment on coilovers...

i swapped my winter/snow tires on this weekend, and thought it would make sense to raise the car a bit so there is some wheel-well gap for the snow to go...

i have the neuspeed konis with the spring perch "disc" in the lowest slot. i'm using the koni threads/sleeves from truechoice along with 9" ers springs in both front and back.

so i try and raise the rear, and it seems, at least on the drivers side, that there is a large range of adjustment on the thread that corresponds to ZERO change in ride height. why is this?

thanks for the help,
phil

they're linear rate, eibach ERS springs. the rate is only 250# in rear. but still, you'd think raising the perch should raise the height. there seems to be some funny physics going on here.

could it have something to do with the way my sway bar is setup? i don't really understand the concept of "pre-load." but when i jack up the car, the rear wheels don't droop very much, a result of my swaybar (comptech adjustable on stiffest setting).

i wasn't drinking at all yesterday

Take off the swaybar and see what happens.
