Default Need Advice on Swap

I drive a 94 civic, I'm planning on getting a b16a2 swap beginning of jan. But recently i heard someone saying there gonna do a H22 swap in there civic. I was wondering if that would be a better swap since they are the same price? Cause hp and torque are better in the H22.

The price won't be the same in the end. H22s need special mount kits...which are expensive.

If I were you I would save just a bit longer and go for at least a 1.8L swap..preferrably a GSR swap. You'll appreciate the extra torque rather than having to rev the crap out of your motor.

I reccommend you do a search on each engine you are interested in, and make an educated decision.

Good luck!

I agree.... I would just go with a B18C.. H22's got a lot of torque but the extra weight and how they sit in your engine bay just doesn't do anything for me... I'd take the a B18C anyday over the H22.... Peace

The H22 is a great engine and most (if not all) of the bugs have been worked out of that swap but the fact remains that the chassis wasn't designed for that engine whereas the B series was INTENDED to go in there. Get the B18C1. Best bang for the buck and its a very 'buildable' engine.
