I've got a mugen header and tanabe rm exhuast. Both have 60mm piping. 60mm=2.35" or 2 3/8". The stock cat is 1.8" in/out. What size aftermarket cat should I get? I've seen them with 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" .... 2 3/8" is right in between. I do not want to have to modify anything. Would there be a problem using the 2 1/2" or will it need to be smaller then the piping for h/e. Any help would be appreciated.
