Anyone go to Cycle World Show?
I went today (Sun). The parking lot looked crazy! There was OVER a thousand bikes parked up (free parking
)The show was pretty good. Got to see all the new '03's. Saw some weird **** (Duc with clear fairings). And there were some killer deals on gear. Shoei Duhammel helmets for $260, Arai RX7RR helemets for $320, One piece Honda leather suits for $299, and a shitload of others. I found this Corsa jacket I've been looking for. Got a pretty damn good deal.
Everyone was free to sit on the demo bikes. A buddy of mine got carried away and tried to knee drag.

JFWY!
It was a display that Buell had. They had a bike leaned over some black steel poles. A great way to take some pics and brag to your friends that you can knee drag without gear or a helmet (true squid style).

lol thats great, but if it really fell, he would have his hand on the side of the tank pushing it up....instead of his hand ontop of the tank, either way its pretty funny though

I went on Friday... picked up a Fieldsheer Carbon Race leather jacket for $200... cheapest I saw online was $250ish from parts411.com, which meant I'd have to pay CA tax. Arai RX7-RR's for $320? I missed that
I paid $420 for my titanium grey one earlier this year
I forgot to pick up a tinted visor for my lid though... was rushed out cuz we had to leave for dinner. The new Duc's didn't appeal much to me... I really liked the new R6 and the CBR 600rr... soooooo many people were around the 600rr it wasn't even funny. Overall a good show, just for the gear discounts. Now I know to wait for shows like this to buy some 1-piece leathers if I ever decide to get a pair.

you don't have to move to cali (even though we have the best year round riding weather). the shows are nationwide. here's a link:

the people who sell the gear are usually local dealers and retailers. it's pretty surprising to see even some of the latest gear on sale.
