Default Skunk2 VS Apexi N1

I Heard that the skunk2 exhaust doesnt sound good and i was planning on buying one so i need some info. My friend gas 94 gsr with a Apexi N1 Turbo exhaust with no resignator and it sounds very nice. Does the skunk2 sound simular???

The apex n1 hangs too low on the hatch. The skunk2 would be a better choice for your hatch.

Use the search function and type in apex n1, apexi n1, ect..... Some of your questions will be answered.

I would go with the N1 , my buddy has a skunk2 on his WRX sound slike crap IMO

If you have a "eg" hatch do not get the n1. This is the last time i'm warning anyone about it. Eveytime i tell them they do it anyway and end up having to get rid of it for something else.

just wondering why you are only looking at apexi n1 and skunk2. i know its a matter of personal choice but b/c of clearance issues with the n1 why don't you look at the apexi world sport (good daily driver) or if the sound is important to you i really liked the sound of my friends Thermal R&D and the price is about same as n1

Yeah, the N1 on the gsr does sound nice, thats the one i would go with...and egweegy, what happened to the 240?

My friend had a thermal on his hatch w/B16 and it sounded damn good. Then eventually got a skunk2,it sounded pretty similiar,but i liked the thermal better myself.

or do like any people in the ITR forum have done (two I personally know of), save money on the cat backs towards a good header and get cutom 2 1/2" mandrel bent piping into a high flow resonator and a magnaflow muffler and use a stock ITR tip. Very clean looking, definately makes power, and doesnt stick out like a coffee can. Now I am gonna be doing some varied version of this setup to my HB, but I won't bore you with the details.

i have the skunk2 on my 97 ex and it sounds very deep but it dont sound good with out a intake and it dont hang low at all so that is the other nice part and it is full stainless and is polished if you want to show off your car just my 2 cents on that

my friends got a skunk 2 on rsx s and it sounds really nice and deep, no rasp at all. too loud for my taste though, get a world sport, to not attract unwanted attention from popos.

I've got a skunk2 catback on my 95 civic coupe. I really like the sound, it's nice and deep, not raspy or tinny. Looks and sounds good IMO.
