Default not sure about this...

Lately I noticed my cooling fan never turns on, even after going on the freeway. The car, however, doesn't overheat (gauge goes to 1/3 H at most). So I'm wondering, is this normal, or should I take a look at the thermoswitch? Also, I'm trying to figure out if everything is fine with the PVC. In the manuel it says you can pinch the chord and it will click if everything is ok. Wel, I can't hear anything because of all the noise from idling engine. Any tips?

Don't worry about this. The thermostatic fan will start when the radiator needs an extra source for cooling. And, with the cooler temperatures now, it is normal that the fan doesn't start as often. This winter, it may not even start at all for several weeks.

Pull teh PCV valve out and stick your finger on hte end, you should fell vacuum and it should mak a click. It would be very hard to pinch that hose all the way closed.
