Ground Crontrol Coil overs spring rates.

Default Ground Crontrol Coil overs spring rates.

Does anyone know where to check which springs rate i have?? I picked up a full set of them at a local junk yard off a 97 integra, i want to put them on my 93 Si hatch. i just wanna know wht the rates are for autoX.

it will say on the spring itself somewhere around where it says eibach

If that is so, then the rates are 200 and 180. but those dont sound right.

yep those are around the right spring rates... stock gc spring rates are really soft... if u want to upgrade them it costs around 50+ bucks per set... for custom rates

Yep, stock spring rates on GC are usually around there depending on the car application.

what would be some good spring rates for autoX,thats what i am plannin to do with my car. and i dont think 200 and 180 will do very well.

cream of the crop? Get some of the not yet released Mugen kit when they come out... I think 1000lb. in front and 1800lb. in the rear. Not streetable at all! But can definately lower then lap times..

should be closer to 325/250 stock.

Actually I believe that 200/180 or close to that were the spring rates on the Ground Control "Special Edition" coilovers that were just for Civics, crxs, integras. They were softer than the normal sets and cheaper too.

you can get custom setups from gc. the owner of the teg could have gone that route

just read the springs, or post some pics
