they fit? how hard are they to mod in?... ill do a search arround this joint to find some info. any clue where i could get the Clock's faceplate without the vent louvers?
what is the best way to take spray paint off plastic interior parts? i have a couple things that i painted white awhle back...when i was in the rice stage but now i want it back to stock color...what is the best way to get this off? and no im not looking for "dont do it in the 1st place"cuz trust me i regret it
i have a few pieces i'd like to remove paint off of as well... i'm thinking of soaking them in paint thinner for awhile... not sure if this will harm the plastic at all or not?
i know this much, the paint thinner will destroy the interior pieces.. my dad's suggestion was to let it dry fully, prime over it several coats, sand smothe, and attempt to repaint to OEM colors (or i just did them black as it looks a bit different, but still not radical ricey red.
****, i'm glad i didn't already do that... i'll prob try the primer method then repaint them... some of the parts prob can't be sanded cause it may take the texture away from them

acually i dont think paint thinner will mest it up cuase i did it on my Teg and fucked up was pissed but dont rub alot on it. it worked for me just take towl and soak a lil end of it and and just start wiping i dont you can try if you like
No screw paint thinner! Use laquer thinner works was better, i used it to get overspray off, it works hella stronger, and better, i recommend it.
heh, all my pieces are black save the center clock plate... that's still red, i ran out of paint. anyhow, that's been sanded and primed so many times it lacks the texture now due to a horrible dissaster with chemical paint mixing and gloping... ack..
the guy that had my car before me thought it would be COOL to paint HALF of my interior racer yellow. ***. UGH. I just took out all the parts and it actually looks half way decent.
what is the best way to take spray paint off plastic interior parts?
i know for a fact that the stuff in that can will eat the paint like a ****.... if u wanna clean valve covers to a aluminum color shine, use this stuff tis great!!!
as far as the ABS plastic used in interiors i dont know if it will damage it... apply it on a small area first and see.... anyways thats an idea..
Aircraft paint remover will certainly eat up the plastic. I practically eats through your skin if you don't wear gloves. Don't do it with this stuff. Only good on metals.
seeing as my mother used it to remove 16 years and about doubble the amounts of coats of paint from the base boards in our house, i'd beg to wonder what happens if it were to drop onto plastic... Presto: Instant interior vaporizer... now that's one way to **** your boss off
Try spray paint remover. i don't know exactly the brandname but AutoZone sells it. i did my interiors red also... man was i stupid! not 2 weeks after, i sprayed some of that on, left it there for about 10 min. and with an old phonecard removed as much as i could...
the rest was just sanded a lil' and it worked fine. repainted it black and it looks way better!
good luck.
i'm looking for the door panels still, i really want to replace them!
